What happens to the images you edit

When you select a photo, ResizeMyImage uses browser image APIs to display and process that file on your device. The image resizer, compressor, grid maker and carousel splitter do not send the selected image to a ResizeMyImage image-processing server. Exports are produced locally and your original upload is not changed.

What the web host can record

When a visitor opens a page, the hosting infrastructure may process connection information such as IP address, requested URL, browser user agent and time of access to deliver the site and help protect it from abuse. These website requests do not include the pixel data from images processed locally by the editing tool.

Cookies and external services

The delivered static website does not include an analytics script, advertising network, account login or external image-processing API. If any of these services are enabled during deployment, their cookies, processing, retention and opt-out choices must be documented here and any required consent controls added before activation.

Downloads and local storage

When you export a resized image or ZIP file, your browser saves it to the location selected by your device. Temporary image objects are held in browser memory while the editing page is open. Closing the editing page normally releases that temporary state. This application does not intentionally store your uploaded photos on its own server.
